Reid Goes to College...Again
The blank summer finally wrapped up and I found myself again getting ready pack my things and migrate north.
Packing wasn't as epic this time as most of my old dorm was still packed up from moving out.
I emptied the taped-up-way-too-many-times boxes and spilled the left overs of my old dorm onto the floor for later sorting, packing, and returning to sender.
What wasn't still packed was set up in my room/summer dorm. This small area was loaded with everything I needed to get through the summer.
So once again, following the precedent I set last year, I gathered all my things into my out-of-town (rather than last year's out-of-northern-hemisphere) sister's room.
Also following precedent, I had to end my stay at home with a bang by making a mess of the place.
Look familiar?
Early one Thursday morning I crammed it all into 2 vans and declared it time to exodus.
Before I knew it I was caravaning back to the wonderful town of
Because this year is going to be sans marching band I was required to move in on move in day instead a couple days earlier. This made it quite chaotic getting all my stuff out of the vans and into my 2nd floor apartment/dorm.
But we did it. Welcome to my new apartment/dorm. Now, because my last dorm was a 1 room slob bucket, I was quite excited to have multiple rooms.

The bedroom.

The reading room.
Behind door #3:
The Reid Burger Factory.
The bedroom has a great view of the inner courtyard and the Pepsi sponsored gravel.
The main room's view isn't as great.

Nice update. Will you be getting a degree in packing and moving? For some reason the shot of the three beds reminded me of the Marx Brothers movie, I think it was "Monkey Business", where they are on an ocean liner and keep taking the bunks of the identical brothers with the long beards, or something like that. There's something to rent when you're not in the practice room or "atronomizing".
Enjoy the cool breeze.
